Acupuncture (before day of and after transfer) ….check!
Massage (scheduled for day of transfer)….check!

Funny movies rented….check!
Fuzzy socks and warm clothes….check!
Sanity….???
I do believe I may be ready for our very first transfer! It is scheduled for Wednesday (tomorrow) at 11AM. The weather has been bad today but hopefully things will clear up by then. I keep vacillating between being super excited and convinced it is not going to work. If anything, I can NOT seem to concentrate on anything. I have so much work to do and all I can do is just keep staring at it. I feel like women going through this should get a pass for a few days.
I hope more than anything that in 9 months or so we can (finally) meet our sweet baby boy. We already love him and have been waiting far too long.

We are actually just doing one (a boy). He is grade A and gone through PGS so my RE said their is a good chance. I also think twins are great but I am trying to avoid those medical risks, I may change my mind if we have to do future ones.

Yeah it is kind of strange to think about. We just happened to have more boys than girls. Also, all our boys (4) are grade As and the girls (3) are grade Bs (still fine but not quite as good). Strange right?

I am glad you like my list, I know there are other things but I know I can not do it all. So tomorrow I am having AM acupuncture then transfer than afternoon massage. The lady doing it is very familiar with IVF. Even so, it is not really a special massage. It is mainly for relaxing and partially because I like massages (why not right!)

I feel the same way! My transfer should be coming up next week (hopefully) and I can not for the life of me concentrate on ANYTHING! I just keep staring off into space! Glad I am not the only one with these feelings 🙂

Yeah we are supposed to really get it tomorrow night. I would be freaking out if my transfer was on Thursday. I am ready to be done with this whole snow thing though. That is why I live in the South!

this is very exciting!!! the only thing i would double check is the tea. i have literally done zero research about it, the only thing i know is i’ve been advised not to start raspberry leaf tea until week 37 to prep the uterus just before birth (it’s only on my mind because we just talked about it in our L&D class tonight). i can’t wait to hear your good new soon 🙂 good luck!

Hey I asked my RE and he said that one cup a day is good as long as it is not caffeinated. He said that science does not show it helps but it can not hurt. Best of luck to you!

Too funny! I just did IUI yesterday and have a very similar list! Massage, acupuncture, RRL tea, Brazil nuts (I’m allergic to pineapple lol), comfy clothes, good stuff on TV, warm stuff, boiled eggs! Ha ha!! Many blessings to you, praying this is our month!!
