    • Thanks! Babies are in the NICU but doing remarkably well. They can breath on their own and are eating well. It is hard to leave them there but I know they are in good hands. Hopefully this time will pass quickly and we will all be home soon.

      • Yes the nurses keep telling me they do not act like NICU babies and are progressing faster than anticipated. This afternoon we got to remove all their IVs. Basically they just want to make sure they continue to eat and gain weight (they were about 4 and a half and 5 pounds).

        I had an emergency C section, which went well. I did have a bad allergic reaction to the adhesive used to keep everything in place but that seems minor in the grand scheme of things. The nurses and doctors here are amazing and I am lucky that we are all getting such great care. I do miss them though. Leaving the NICU and going back to my room is hard.
